Airflow Laboratory Services of Danbury Connecticut
Airflow Laboratory Services of Danbury provides service and repair for Biomedical Laboratory Equipment. It is a very technical and unique
business which involves refurbishing industrial grade freezers, autoclaves, environmental test chambers and many more specialized scientific
equipment.
Because of the nature of the business, we designed a website with a brushed aluminum look with a beveled edge that gives the main content
area a 3-D look. A simple slideshow on the home page displays some of the many types of apparatus that AirFlow services along with a brief
text caption where they advertise some of their many services.
A used equipment page rounds out the website. On this page, the client can list refurbished equipment they have available for sale or lease.
The used equipment page can easily be updated by the client who can upload photographs, descriptions and prices to the website via an easy
to use Content Management System (CMS). The CMS allows the client to take digital photographs from any camera or scanner, upload them to the
website and have them automatically resized and compressed for web use. No photo imaging software is required and the CMS will produce both
a full sized image as well as a smaller thumbnail image for pop-up photos.
Complete Excavation of Danbury Connecticut
As with many of our clients, Complete Excavation wanted a website that would match the promotional material they were already distributing.
We were able to take this Danbury excavation, demolition, concrete stamping and septic system company's postcards and fliers and create a
website that looks as if it were designed in conjunction with the rest of their marketing materials.
We took a background for the website directly from one of the stamped and stained concrete projects that this Danbury business is known for.
Complete Excavation is a perfect example of a website that started small and underwent several expansions, adding additional service pages and
expanding the photo galleries. Even though much of this expansion was performed piecemeal, the finished product is a cohesive whole and
appears as if it was planned this way from the onset.
When the client inquired about posting job openings on the website, we were able to also provide a complete online Employment Application.
Potential employees are directed to the website via job postings online and in newspapers where they fill out the application directly on
the website. Once completed, the finished application is emailed to the client's office manager for consideration. This simplifies the
application process for the client and makes the unnecessary distraction of requiring job applicants to visit the office during working
hours obsolete.
Western Connecticut SCORE - Danbury Connecticut
We can't claim credit for the visual design of this website as it was copied from the national SCORE website so that this local chapter
would have a familiar look and feel. However, there are several custom features "under the hood" that bear mention. Prior to our redesign
of the Danbury SCORE website, the website was virtually unknown to search engines. A search for Danbury SCORE was more likely to
bring up the Danbury Trashers website than the Danbury SCORE's website.
Therefore, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) was an integral part of the redesign of the Danbury SCORE website. After this project was
completed, not only did this website get top ranking for Danbury SCORE but for other relevant phrases like business help in Danbury,
help for small businesses in Danbury and even similar searches using towns within their area of operations (Greater Danbury Area).
One of the features of this website that we most hear SCORE rave about is an online counselor scheduling and client appointment taking web
applications that allows Danbury SCORE's answering service to book appointments and volunteer counselors to check their appointments online
from the comfort of their homes.
